Involvement Fair
Penn state has hundreds of clubs and organizations for every interest you have. A perfect place to explore these opportunities is at the involvement fair at the beginning of the fall semester. This takes place on the HUB Lawn and allows you to walk around and explore different clubs that Penn State has to offer.
Technical clubs are a fantastic way to meet like-minded people and develop skills that are desired by employers.
Non-Technical clubs are a great way to get away from class work and explore your interest while meeting new people.
Nittany Motorsports (Penn State's FSAE team) is a multifaceted organization where a team comprised of 9 subsystems (all specialized in a different area) design and manufacture a formula car to compete with teams from all around the world. To learn more about how to join, click the link below.
Penn state is a national leader in Greek life participation with 42 fraternities and 28 sororities. These include major-specific and non-affiliated organizations to ensure that there is a spot for anyone. These are a great way to gain social skills and make friends. Penn State's 3D-Printing Club is a welcoming environment where you are able to gain the technical skill of additive manufacturing which is well sought after in the workforce. Thon is the worlds largest student run philanthropy group and consists of a 46 hour dance marathon raising upwards of 236 million dollars. Over 16,000 students have volunteered to the cause.
