Penn State THON is an annual 46-hour no-sitting, no-sleeping fundraising event to raise money for the Four Diamonds Fund. THON is the largest student-run philanthropy group in the world, and it involves thousands of students, including dancers, volunteers, and supporters, who work together to raise millions of dollars each year. You can even join Nittanyville which is a student-run campout tradition in order to get a front row spot in the student section. Penn State's Homecoming weekend is a student-run event aimed to celebrate Penn State tradition. The weekend includes a large parade on Friday that spans all of campus and downtown along with the Homecoming football game at Beaver Stadium on Saturday.
