Mainland China does not have a lot of street art due to the government. However, Hong Kong has a very alive street art scene. Artists are encouraged to paint murals and add creativity into the city. Hong Kong has an annual festival called Hong Kong walls that showcases street artists and gives them a platform to show off their artwork.

Rainbow Thief
Sham Shui Po District, Hong Kong
2016
Okuda made this piece as a part of the 2016 Hong Kong Walls which is an annual street art festival that takes over different parts of the city. This piece is so colorful to try and bring energy to an old and bland apartment block. In addition, the triangles and squares in the piece are what make Okuda's work so unique.
