PSJA Collegiate School of Health Professions Library
Welcome to our Collegiate Library! I'm Mrs. Alvarez, librarian at PSJA Collegiate School of Health Professions. I have been an educator in PSJA for 15 years, and I am thrilled to join the Collegiate family. I hold a Bachelor's degree in International Studies and Spanish, and Master's degrees in History and Library Science. I am a Google Certified Levels 1 and 2 educator, and I am passionate about integrating technology and connecting students with books they will love, to promote literacy.
Our library owns over 15,000 print and audiovisual titles as well as more than 20,000 e-books, and subscribes to 18 online databases. In addition to supporting the curriculum, the print collection includes recreational reading materials such as recent fiction and test preparation materials. The librarian is here to help you find resources for your class assignments or a book just for fun. Please email, call, or stop by if you have any questions.
Stop by our library:
- for a class,
- to check out a book,
- to read,
- to destress,
- to try our makerspaces,
- to get involved
- and much more!
