Dr. Riza Reyna G. Calma

Dr. Riza Reyna G. Calma is a dedicated educator with 22 years of experience in teaching Filipino. She finished her Doctor of Arts in Literature and Communication, and Master of Arts in Panitikang Filipino in Cebu Normal University. Her dissertations were “Tatlong Piling Maikling Kuwento ni Efren Reyes Abueg: Isang Panlipunang Pagsisiyasat” and “Ang Babae sa Nobelang Dekada ’70 ni Lualhati Bautista: Mga Panlipunang Pananagutan”.

She is currently a Filipino teacher in Grade 7 at Philippine Science High School – Central Visayas Campus and the Assistant Curriculum Instruction Division Chief for Student Affairs. 

She loves reading and into literary writing in Filipino and Sebwano languages. She believes that teaching is a vocation and same with Dr. Jose P. Rizal “ na ang kabataan ang pag-asa ng ating bayan”.
