Dr. Orcene D. Cancino is a dedicated mathematics educator with a strong passion for teaching and research. Holding a Ph.D. in Science Education majoring in Mathematics from Saint Mary's University, his dissertation, “Knowledge Dimensions, Beliefs, and Teaching Efficacy among Filipino Junior High School Mathematics Teachers: A Basis for an Enhanced Teacher Bridging Program”, underscores his commitment to improving math education. He earned a Master of Science in Mathematics from the University of Baguio, where his thesis, “On Graphs Induced by Non-Empty Subsets”. Currently, Dr. Cancino teaches Mathematics for Grade 11 and 12, along with Research 2, where he continues to inspire young minds to develop critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. With a deep-rooted dedication to education, he strives to foster a meaningful learning experience for students while contributing to the advancement of mathematics education.
