Louie Dasas was the inaugural STEM Chair of the UST Senior High School and a Supervising Teacher for Science at the UST Education High School from 2021-2022. At present, he is the Pedagogical Lead and Assistant Dean of the University of Santo Tomas College of Education. Concurrently, he is a Center for Innovative Teaching and Educational Delivery core facilitator and the project lead of the Certificate in Science Teaching program of the College of Education in collaboration with DepEd Pasig and Pasig LGU. He is also involved in several development projects, such as Project Future with IDEO Shanghai, STEM Collab with Gokongwei Brothers Foundation (GBF), and research projects with the Department of Science and Technology Science EducationInstitute (DOST-SEI), Philippine Business for Education (PBEd), and the Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS). At present, he leads research projects underthe Research Initiatives in Teacher Education (RITE) funded by the Teacher Education Council (TEC) in support of The Second Congressional Commission on Education (or EDCOM2).
