Mrs. Walker works mainly with 6th graders but has some students across all grade levels. She focuses mainly on English and Math as well as social/emotional skills.
About Me:
About Me:
- I have been teaching special education for 9 years, 7 of which have been at Wellington Middle School.
- I have a B.A. in special education from the University of Northern Colorado (the other UNC), and a M.S. in special education with a Behavior Intervention Specialist concentration.
- I am a native of Northern Colorado and attended Eyestone, Wellington, and Poudre as a student.
- I live in the Waverly area with my husband Ben and our sweet dogs Apollo and Odin.
- I love college sports especially football! My favorite teams are Colorado State, Nebraska, and of course the Broncos.
- Teaching students in the integrated services program is my passion. I love my job and the students and families I work with.
- Wellington is an amazing place to work. This community is tight and our school feels like family.

We will work on meeting 6th grade English standards while utilizing all of our accommodations and learn new strategies to help accelerate our learning.
