Beginning with The Electives Wheel in 6th grade, Webber students can access a wide suite of hands-on Technology learning opportunities. Many of these classes fall under my responsibility and privilege. Among the classes I teach are:
Introduction to Technology and Engineering
Exploring Technology and Engineering
Woods Crafts
Robotics (Lego)
3D Design and Printing
Colorado Hunter Safety and Education
Outdoor Living
21st Century Media Production (WebTV)
In addition, I am also the Faculty sponsor of WAVE, Webber's very own aerospace and engineering enthusiast club. WAVE seeks to allow students to experience the challenge and thrill of simulating a mission to the Moon, Mars, Europa and beyond, in a highly collaborative and supportive environment. WAVE is truly a student-lead club, with Mission Directors and Astronauts leading the club, leveraging their accrued experience for the benefit of all WAVE participants. WAVE is utterly unique, supportive and great fun for all. All students are welcome to join WAVE and a club fee is required. The longer students remain with the club, the greater their access to leadership positions. Visit the WAVE website and have a look!
