2021 Outdoor Living BTSN Introduction Video
My name is John Williams, I’m the Outdoor Education teacher here at Preston Middle School. I am lucky enough to have a career spreading my love and knowledge of the outdoors to students. In our uncertain world, nature and our experiences with it can bring a sense of healing and build community. Outdoor Education can open doors for students who are searching for additions to their knowledge base while also providing options for life long passions to develop.
Outdoor Living is a semester course where students will learn the skills necessary to experience our natural world safely and ethically. My goal for students after their time in Outdoor Living is a well rounded and ethical outdoors person who is ready and able to take their passions for the outdoors home to share with family and friends.
