Intellectual/Developmental Disability Advocacy

ARC OF LARIMER COUNTY

  • Offers advocacy for people of all ages who have an intellectual/developmental disability (ID/DD).

  • Helping clients understand laws, rules, and regulations that govern services

  • Protecting human and civil rights and provide opportunities for inclusion such as attending IEP meetings, service planning, and any other meeting to provide support

Youth Services

JACOB CENTER

  • Offers youth services that include:

    • Coaching and mentoring programs -

    • Supervised visits

    • Trauma treatment

    • Recreation activities -

    • Therapeutic services offered in Spanish

SERVICES UPDATE - NEW THERAPY GROUPS

We are working exceptionally hard to address urgent community needs and ramping up efforts to reach our most vulnerable youth and families directly impacted by COVID-19. We are offering two new online therapy groups for adults and adolescents:

Anxiety Support Group

We are offering an Anxiety Support Group online for adults.

Topics will include:

  • Anxiety and Burnout + Thinking Patterns

  • Major Life Transitions + Healthy Boundaries

  • Goal Setting + Self Care

  • Freedom From Guilt + Emotional Resilience

Adolescent Support Group

We are offering an Adolescent Support Group online for youth.

Topics will include:

  • Mindfulness

  • Emotional Regulation

  • Distress Tolerance

  • Interpersonal Effectiveness

Inquire about flexible date options and pricing. Medicaid accepted.

Individuals affected by COVID-19 may be eligible for free services.
