I am thrilled to join PGA this year with the Middle School Team as the Grade 8 Language Arts Teacher for my second year at PGA. My childhood and adult life have been populated by the books I have read and the characters who have shaped my life through their adventures and misadventures. It is one of my greatest joys to have the opportunity to share this love of literature and learning with you!

When I am not buried in a book, you might find me running, hiking, fishing or walking with my partner, Nic and my dogs. My own children are grown and out chasing their dreams. I try to catch up with them as often as I can for family campouts, dinners and long walks with the dogs.  I love to knit and practice yoga when the weather cools down and the snow keeps me indoors.

I am here to support you in your learning journey and walk beside you as you encounter and explore Language Arts. We have a wonderful year in store for us!

I have taught high school language arts for the past four years in public schools. Prior to that I taught 5th and 6th grade in private schools in Fort Collins and in Flagstaff, Arizona. I homeschooled my children for 7 years.
