Week of October 19th: Students will learn about PCA Norms. Students will discuss Hybrid Learning Expectations. Students will be assigned seats. Students will complete a letter to me assignment in Google Classroom so we can all get to know each other better. Students will be able to translate shapes in the coordinate plane. Students will have homework assigned in Big Ideas Math (BIM).
Week of October 26th: Students will be able to reflect and rotate objects in the coordinate plane. Students will have homework assigned in BIM.
Week of November 2nd: Students will review transformations. Students will have a quiz in BIM. Students will be able to dilate figures and compare similarity. Students will have homework assigned in BIM.
Week of November 9th: Students will discuss angles in triangles and will be able to determine if two polygons are congruent. Students will have homework assigned in BIM.
Week of November 16th: Students will be able to identify equilateral and isosceles triangles. Students will have homework assigned in BIM.
Week of November 23rd: Students will be able to prove triangles are congruent using SAS. Students will have homework assigned in BIM. Enjoy having Wednesday-Friday off!
Week of November 30th: Students will be able to use congruence theorems SSS, ASA, AAS. Students will have a quiz in BIM.
Week of December 7th: Students will be able to identify and use perpendicular and angle bisectors, medians and altitudes of triangles, and triangle midsegments. Students will have homework assigned in BIM.
Week of December 14th: Students will review for final exams. Students will take final exams. Good luck and enjoy winter break!
