I am Shelly Peterson, the music teacher at McGraw. I am so excited to work with McGraw students and help instill a lifelong love of music!

DECEMBER TALENT SHOW IN MUSIC CLASS!

If your student has a prepared performance and would like to share it with their classmates, please encourage them to participate! This day will be dedicated to students sharing their talents they have been working on (not something they just make up in front of the class). Students will perform in music class on that day. Examples include piano players, singers, soccer players, comedians, dancers, etc. who have practiced their “act” 20+ times. Please encourage your student to practice and help them remember the items they need on this day. (Instruments and other items are OK to bring to school, just make sure your student has a safe place to store it during the day and communicate with their teacher. There is space in the music room if arranged ahead of time. Students may use the piano, guitar, & ukulele in the music room. It is always so great to hear what your students can do!
