All 2nd Graders will present
"Swamped"
Thursday, April 16, 2026
6:00pm in the McGraw gym
All 2nd graders need to report to their classroom no later than 5:40pm on Thursday, April 16. Between 5:30-5:40pm is best.
What to wear: If you have an acting part or volunteered to be a specific animal, please dress with your animal on your clothes or to look like your animal. If you do not have a specific animal to dress up like, choose your favorite pollinator to be.
Ideas to look like some animals:
TADPOLES...Wear green, brown, gray, or black. I will provide a tail the tadpoles can remove and turn into a frog!
Headbands with antennae...dragonfly, bee, insects
"Swamped" is the program 2nd graders will perform in April!

2nd Graders are learning...
Beat...ask your student to pat the beat on their lap when listening to music at home or in the car.
Rhythm...ask your student to clap their name rhythm.
...ask your student to clap your name rhythm.
...ask your student to clap the rhythm of their favorite foods,
colors, animals, etc.
Meter...ask your student about meters of 2, 3, and 4
...ask how a meter of 2 makes you want to move (march)
...ask how a meter of 3 makes you want to move (sway, skate, waltz)
...ask how a meter of 4 makes you want to move (walk, dance)
