+ Read Bison Came Back in RAZ KIDS, take quiz and write a RESPONSE to the extended response question: What events caused the number of bison to change over time? Due on Friday.
MATH (20-30 minutes daily)
Warm up with REFLEX MATH (10-15 minutes until light turns green)
Skill Practice: Addition AND Subtraction STRATEGIES to 1,000, Khan Academy
WRITING (20-30 minutes daily)
Add at least ONE CHOICE Perfect Paragraph to your Writing Journal this week.
2 assigned paragraphs (Best or worst game, Daily Task everyone should do every day).
If you have other ways to practice reading, writing paragraphs, or adding multi-digit numbers, go for it. Share what you do in Google Classroom or SeeSaw so others can learn from you.

Welcome to our 2nd Grade Home Page.
Lopez Elementary is a Leader In Me School in the heart of Fort Collins, Colorado. From our school garden you can see the unique feature above, Horsetooth Rock.
In 2nd grade at Lopez, we work hard to develop the 8 habits of happy, healthy, and highly effective kids. Each day we strive to transition from learning to read to reading to learn while enhancing 21st century skills. We explore mathmatical practices and are problem solvers. Additionally, we learn about our community, it's grand history, and how that history impacts today. We explore habitats, matter, water, and more. Our annual highlights include Pioneer Day, a visit to Auntie Stone's cabin and an old school house, a trip to the Butterfly Pavilion, and our leadershiop expo: Live @ Lopez.
