About Mrs. Potter

Hi, everybody! I'm Mrs. Potter and am so excited to be your 5th-grade teacher this year! Here's a little bit about me:

• This is my 10th year teaching and I feel so fortunate to have a "job" that I genuinely love coming to every day. That is the key, kids! Find something you love so much that it never feels like work!

• I am married to my wonderful husband, Eric, and we have been together for almost 15 years. We have a beautiful 2.5 year old daughter, Lennyn ("Lenny"), who is our entire world! We also have a dog named Dobby, we are Potters, after all!

• I LOVE to travel! I've been to 9 countries and I'm hoping to add more to that list in the next few years. Some of my favorite places have been The Netherlands, Denmark, Belgium, and Switzerland. 

• When I'm not teaching, you'll find me snuggled up with a good book. I try to read at least 50 books every year. I love reading all (okay, most) genres and discussing books - I can't wait to get to know each of you as readers this year! I also love spending time with my husband and friends in the great outdoors, going to concerts and listening to music, skiing, and doing yoga. Namaste, friends!
