The GT Coordinator, parents and teachers partner to support the student's ALP goals by providing guidance, structure (SMART Goal), benchmark check-ins and application or opportunities to real-world experiences.
Achievement Goal Choice Guidance and Small Groups
Each student’s ALP has one Achievement goal that is a SMART goal set by the student with guidance from parents/guardians. The partnership of parent, guardian, GT Coordinator and the student’s teachers provides direction and support throughout the school year. To select an Achievement Goal, students and a parent or guardian, review the guidelines below and complete the ALP Goal Choice Google Form found in the Kinard GT Google Classroom. During the school year, students meet in ALP small groups for touch base check-ins with Mrs. Grigg and to collaborate and share strategies and ideas for goal achievement.
