PSD does not supply any over-the-counter medications.
Students may not keep or carry any medications in their pockets or in their bags.
Any medication taken at school, whether doctor prescribed, or over the counter, must be accompanied by PSD Authorization to Administer Medication form signed by both a parent/guardian and the physician.
This includes: cough medicines, sore throat lozenges, antacids, and NSAID/pain-relief medications.
All Medications must be provided and brought to the school by a guardian, in the original prescription bottle or over the counter container. When considering containers, please chose the smallest quantities available, as they are re-counted each month. Pharmacists can provide you with two labeled bottles if you ask them to label one for school use.
