In our math classes, we move at a fast pace, with each lesson building on what we've already covered. This means that when you're absent, it's important to come back to class prepared to keep learning and stay on track. Catching up on missed material is your responsibility, as the class continues to build on previous lessons. To help you get up to speed, here's a guide to assist you in catching up on any content you missed:
Check your binder or workbook to review the upcoming topics, which are listed in the essential questions attached to the lessons.
Communicate with Mrs. Elder ahead of time to find out which materials or assignments you'll need to catch up on.
Use the support video page to reinforce your understanding of the new content.
Read the corresponding section in the online textbook, as well as any embedded videos that can provide additional explanations.
Give it a try! Apply what you've learned from the videos and textbooks to the assignments. Don’t hesitate to experiment and see what you can do!
If you need extra support, Cub Connect and Office Hours are built into our schedule to provide additional resources and help.
