Judges

Before the Tournament

1

If you haven't judged a Colorado Speech and Debate tournament or want a refresher please select the "How to Judge" button below.

2

Having access to Tabroom is a necessity to judge this tournament. Please make sure that you can login to Tabroom.com by selecting the button below (with the email you got the link to this site from). You will get your ballots and notifications from Tabroom so it is imperative to do so.

During the Tournament

1

It is imperative that you get to Fort Collins High School between 7 AM and 7:30 AM, check-in with the tournament staff, and head to the Judges' Lounge (P100). Remember to bring a laptop or tablet to be able to enter ballots.

2

Judge training will happen at 7:40 AM in P100. Please make sure you are there and have checked in by that time.

3

You will be notified via email and by text (if you provided your cell provider to Tabroom) that you have a round. Log into Tabroom (you should be there already) and click on your name in the upper right of the webpage. This will always have your current and past rounds and ballots.

4

Once you received a ballot, click on the big green button "start ballot". This will tell the tournament staff that you have acknowledged your ballot and are heading or are in your room ready to start the round.

5

Provide ranks and points as soon as you are done with watching the debate or performances and click the "submit" button. You can put comments in throughout the day. Putting the ranks/win and points allows us to start scheduling the next round as soon as possible.

If you need assistance

If you have any questions, there is someone who is staffing the Judges' Lounge that can help you. There will be people monitoring rooms to ensure competitors and you make it into the rooms and start judging.

After the Tournament

1

Once you have judged your last round, please check out with the judges' table.

2

Please fill out the survey so that we can make this experience as enjoyable for you as possible.
