Before the Tournament

Please ensure all of your competitors have Tabroom accounts and are linked. If they have not done so yet, please ask them to go to tabroom.com and click "Sign Up" in the upper right hand of the web page.

Once your student has confirmed they have signed up, you just need to link them to your competitor. Click your email in Tabroom, go to the Competitor tab, Add Student button on the right, Type in the Student email they signed up with and click search. If they and you did it correctly, viola!

Enter your judges as soon as possible to prepare for the tournament. There is a separate Judges page for them with similar steps for them. I need to know how many judges I need to scramble to get so do this soon, please. Uncovered judges will be charged $25 per judge.

Provide any registration adds to Dr. Clarke (jclarke@psdschools.org) since adds are no longer permitted via Tabroom due to impacting the number of judges required. Please have all your registration adds done by Wednesday morning the week of the tournament.

During the Tournament

IMPORTANT - Log into Tabroom or the registration table to tell us you and your team are present and any last-minute drops and/or replacements. Doing this as close to 7:00 AM will help us keep the tournament on time.

Coaches and Tab room (found in the library) are there for you throughout the day to ask questions and get issues that your students have to us quickly. Please be available as much as possible and provide a way to get a hold of you if you are judging or away from the room.

Ballots will be available to you once the rounds are complete, so you can alert us to anything out of the ordinary. Please do not share the results with your students until after the tournament. We want everyone to do their best every round and for the awards ceremony to be as exciting and thrilling as possible.

We will have finals for those events that require them. There is an awards ceremony in the auditorium as soon as we get the final results.

After the Tournament

Ballots will be available to competitors once the Award Ceremony is concluded. NSDA Points will be posted. Congress points will be posted so you can see how your students did on each speech and correlate them to the comments they received.

Please send your payment as soon as you can. We are accepting payment by check. Please make the check out to Fort Collins High School, and write Debate Tournament in the memo. You can mail the check to:
