Please follow these directions to log into your child's free Quaver account.
Quaver Music is the adopted music curriculum for Poudre School District.
Click below to log in to Quaver
When you click the link above, you should see the following page (note that it is not the Quaver website).
This is the SSO page that will allow students to log into their free PSD Quaver page.
Students will need to know their PSD ID number (also known as their 'lunch number'). If your child doesn't know this number, you can probably get it from their classroom teacher. Many students have their login information taped to their school laptops. Include this number @psdschools.org (i.e. 123456@psdschools.org). Click 'NEXT'.
On the next screen, enter the student's email password. It will be four digits and their initials.
If a student has never logged in before, this will be the next screen.
Click the green "Create new QuaverEd Account" button.
You should now see the student's "Dashboard".
Students can personalize their Avatar by clicking on it and then making choices of hair/skin color, clothing, features, accessories, etc.
Students will find songs and activities I've organized for them by clicking the "Assignments" button on the "Dashboard". Choose from the assignments on the left side of this screen. Then, click the green launch button.
Once an assignment is launched, the first screen will be visible. Use the yellow "Next" and "Previous" arrows to move to additional screens. To see a pop-up list of available screens, click the gray bar with the screen number and title.
There are many great activities under the "Creatives" tab. Directions (both video and written) can be found for any of these activities by clicking "Menu" at the upper right corner once the activity is opened. Then click the "Help" button at the bottom of the menu.
Click on "Quaver Street" to find a new place to explore. Kids enjoy personalizing their own 'music room'. Just click the "Music Room" window to enter this space. Click the gray "Music Room Editor" tab at the bottom of the screen to find options to add furniture, decor and to change floor and wall colors. Most of these options require Quaver notes to 'purchase' them. I periodically send free Quaver notes to students.
Please email if your child needs more. They are free for me to give.
To exit the music room, click the "To Quaver Street" sign above the TV.
To exit Quaver Street, hit the exit button at the top right of that screen.
I hope these directions are helpful in allowing students to fully experience all there is to do in Quaver Music. Remember, all students have a free account that is provided to them.
Email me at aadams@psdschools.org if you have any further questions.
