Basketball

At Parkwood we have two basketball teams-the girls team & the boys basketball team. We have two games for each team and we have 6 practices for both teams. I feel like we have some wonderful coaches that could possibly lead us to victory. On Friday February 9 the girls will play the staff during the day and there will be a video on zoom. The boys will play the staff after school and there will be a video on zoom.
Book Fair & Reading Month

The book fair just ended. There were pens and notebooks and some toys that came with books. If you brought in your purple reading month calendar you got a free book. It was a lot of fun.
100th Day of School

January 30th was the 100th day of the school year. And also it was the 1000th day of school for 5th grade classrooms. If you have stayed in all of the grades in school in 5th grade on the 100th day would be the 1000th day of school. We all had a fun day of activities like, extra recess, 100 second activities, like how many times we could sing happy birthday in 100 seconds. Overall the 100 and 1000th day of school was a blast.
1st Grade & 5th Grade Concerts

It was very fun and we got to have fun watching the first grade had the best voice for the first graders and the present. The fifth grade concert was about pirates and singing. There was a play at the musical. Fifth grade had treasure to find in the concert. There was a paper of the songs when you came in.
