Our half-day preschool program integrates preschool students that are typically developing with children that have identified needs and require an Individualized Education Program (IEP). The classroom has a maximum of 12 children, a certified teacher and at least one paraprofessional. The multi-aged classroom creates a learning environment where younger children are nurtured by older children and benefit from collaborative learning while older children show increased levels of confidence and leadership. The half-day program is Monday-Thursday with a morning session and an afternoon session. For more information, click on the button below:

Parents/Guardians will begin by submitting an application. All applications will be placed in a lottery to determine which children receive a spot in the program. Use the button below to complete the half-day preschool application form.
Parents will be notified by email soon after the lottery to let them know if their child was selected for a spot. Once accepted, parents can begin the registration process. Parents of students who were drawn in the lottery will need to complete the online registration and pay a $50 non-refundable registration fee. Students who are not drawn in the lottery will be placed on a wait list.
Must be a Pattonville resident.
Applications must be submitted between February 1 and February 29 in order to be in the lottery.
Lottery will be held on the first Monday in March.
Families will be notified no later than March 8, 2024 if they received a spot for their child or if they were placed on the waiting list.
Any applications received after February 29, will automatically go to the end of the waiting list as received.
Children must be 3 years old by July 31.
Does my child qualify for the half-day preschool program?
Your child must be 3 years old by July 31 and reside in the Pattonville School District to qualify.
Is there anything I can do to guarantee my child is chosen?
No. The lottery is entirely random.
What if I am selected, but I need full day preschool?
Our full-day preschool program is a tuition-based preschool. Families needing full-day preschool can register for the full-day program, however children cannot participate in both the half-day and the full-day programs.
What happens if my child is selected?
If your child is selected, you will be notified shortly after the lottery via email. At that time, you will need to register your child and pay the $50 registration fee.
