The course introduces students to basic concepts, subjects, and methods of inquiry in the disciplines that comprise the Social Sciences. It then discusses influential thinkers and ideas in these disciplines and relates these ideas to the Philippine setting and current global trends.

Amidst the pandemic, we have learned to take gratitude in the smallest of things, and the privileges we enjoy. The luxuries we partake all came from founding fathers and mothers, engineers, and scientists from past and present centuries.
That is when the dilemma begins, who truly paved the way? The 20th century, who jumpstarted evolution and the foundation of our society, or the 21st century, who emphasized on innovation and creativity?
Well, it is up to you to find out.
