Coast Guard
This booklet is helpful to anyone who works in or by large bodies of water to ensure their safety in the event of a tsunami. This could help and guide any coastguard in training so that they may also help any civilians caught in the disaster. Any information in this booklet can also be relayed to civilians so that they can also be vigilant near the waters. During this type of event, safety is a number one priority and Coast Guards are there to enforce that.
Soldier
Man-made disasters have an element of human intent, negligence, or error involving a failure of a man-made system, as opposed to natural disasters resulting from natural hazards. A workforce of people dedicate their professional lives to predicting, preventing, and dealing with the consequences of disasters, whether natural and man-made. As a future soldier of the Philippine Army, I must continue to strive for the people and educate the importance of Disaster Risk Reduction Management. In times of crisis, integrated AFP Reservist DRRM units shall act as reliable first responder groups that will assist DRRM components.
Doctor
This booklet is about biological hazards or epidemics in humans and this can be used by future doctors. There is useful information that doctors can use especially because they are dealing with sick patients. There are also some tips on how to mitigate or lessen the spreading of different diseases that they can use.
Nurse
This E-booklet contains facts and the science behind MERS-CoV, its symptoms, and tips to lower the chances of being infected. Nurses play a vital role in MERS-CoV: they collect data about your health to see if you have any visible symptoms. Nurses play an essential role in our current situation. They are mainly responsible for triaging, assessment, intervention, health education, and prevention of the spread of various diseases to improve the quality of life.
Seismologist
Through studying the science, safety precautions, and common misconceptions of an earthquake, Aspiring Seismologists would be able to accurately analyze the study of earthquakes and their results, like tsunamis, and landslides with the use different tools such as a strain meter, creep meter, and a seismometer to analyze and interpret the nature of earthquakes which will allow students to explore a vast and unique concept of the world and journey to a life saving career.
