· They are on campus with the hospital but are a separate entity so patients should go to them on campus versus ER.

· Intake Services: Intervention services for psychotic, suicidal, or homicidal children and adolescents who receive Medicaid or are uninsured. Upon taking the referral, CARES will dispatch a SASS worker who provides intervention within 2 hours

Wellness Support Specialists are professionals who have experienced mental health and/or substance use recovery in their own lives. They are trained in recovery support, mentoring, and advocacy and are ready to listen and support you. The Warm Line is not a crisis hotline, but is a source of support as you recover or help a family member to recover.
