2023-2024:
The founder of The Happy Trumpet, Francesco C. , is part of the 'Researchers & Writers' group, along with Daniel K, and Coleman C. The other group is the 'Editors' group. The people in this group are Aden H. and Noam K. Now sometimes people in The Editing group will do some writing, and vice versa.
Why was The Happy Trumpet created?
Francesco started noticing all you ever hear on the news is bad news. Some examples of bad news are crimes, new illnesses/upticks in illnesses, fires, etc. And climate change is also a very bad thing. So Francesco thought, “I like learning about the climate, and I like writing, but I don’t like bad news. So what if I started a newspaper about good news in the environment?” Francesco feels that the trumpet is the instrument of the news, and since we don't release any bad news, The Happy Trumpet was created!
