Educational Equity in Brookline

A MESSAGE TO OUR COMMUNITY:

The Public Schools of Brookline recognizes the depth and richness our community members' religious identities bring to our district. We acknowledge that our work is about ensuring equity for every single student, and we unequivocally include every student of historically marginalized religious groups in that.

We condemn hate speech and stand resolutely against discrimination of any kind. This includes Anti-Semitism and Islamophobia. We firmly believe in every student’s right to a safe school environment that is conducive to learning and that affirms and honors each student and the diversity of our community.

To this end, we call upon students, families, and all school personnel. If you have experienced an incident of hate speech or discrimination of any kind - or have WITNESSED such an incident involving Public Schools of Brookline community members - please report the incident here. The safety of all community members is our utmost priority and reported incidents will be promptly investigated.
