Check/Uncheck (Teacher option)- Hide totals in student grades summary.
Check (important) - Hide grade distribution graphs from students.
Assignments:
Do you use points? Choose points in the assignment, and it will be sticky to the browser you are using. When you create a second assignment after using points, points will be selected.
Assignment worth zero points? If you want a due date and other assignment details for a 0-point assignment, choose Display Grade as Ungraded to keep your gradebook cleaner. Example: Read pages 10-17 and be ready for class discussion.

Totals:
If your course does not use weighted assignment groups, you can view your students' total grades as points. In the Gradebook, click the Display as Points link by the Total. When assignment groups are weighted, points cannot be displayed for the total grade.
Selecting the Move to Front link pins the Total Grades column next to the Student Names column.
The Total column in the Gradebook displays a running total of all graded assignments in the course, including assignments with hidden grades.
Exporting Grades:
Export Grades to export Gradebook scores for assignments associated with a grading period, click the Apply Filters button, and select the grading period from the Grading Periods section. Then click the Export drop-down menu and select the Export Current Gradebook View option.
Exporting each Q when you are done grading is a best practice. Current Score: Reflects scores for submitted, unmuted assignments
Notes:
The CSV includes any selected grading period information; however, assignment group totals in the CSV are calculated based on all grading periods.
The CSV file displays a total grade for the specific grading period being viewed or export the All Grading Periods Gradebook view.
