10 Things to Know About Mrs. Harris

1. I love traveling and spending time with my family.  

2. I have a 21 year old son who is heading off to Ohio for his third year of college.  He loves listening to music and is learning to play golf.

3. My daughter is 18 years old.  She just finished high school and be studying science at her university this fall.  She enjoys spending time with friends. 

4. Fitness is a passion.  I like setting goals and working towards them.  I love the friends I've made through running and working out.

5. Baking makes me happy.  Chocolate chip cookies are my specialty.

6. I love finding books that are like gold.   I get ideas about what to read from my friends.

7. Skiing is an activity that I enjoy with my whole family.  My dad taught me to ski when I was three years old.

8. Two years ago we added two kittens to our household! They bring us lots of joy.

9. This will be my 29th year teaching third grade, my 23nd year at Baker School.

10. I think third graders are the best mix of curious, thoughtful, eager, capable and respectful.
