Heath School

centralized online school resources during school closure due to COVID-19

To help students and parents stay informed about all the various online platforms teachers are using at Heath to support students, we have created this central site.

We thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate this evolving and complex situation.

Please, stay safe – mentally and physically. In these unprecedented times, our individual and collective health is our primary focus.

Learning Opportunities Information

Learning Opportunities are technically optional due to inequities in our social structures and due to the fact that we are experiencing a global health pandemic. In our community, we have families and staff experiencing food insecurity, technical challenges (like, one computer and three students in the home), food insecurities, a lack of consistent adult supervision, and more.

  • If you are NOT consistently facing these challenges, we expect students to fully engage in the learning opportunities we have on offer.

  • If you need help, please let a teacher or staff member know and we will work hard to help you meet your needs.

The Public Schools of Brookline has also provided various Extended Learning resources which can be found here.

Here you will find Brookline's Guidance on Remote Learning (sent to families on April 6th) that contains details about how PSB is supporting students during this period. We are guided in part by the Department of Elementary & Secondary Education’s Guidance on Implementing Remote Learning and must abide by the agreement reached between the School Committee and the Brookline Educators Union for work responsibilities during the school closure.

Here you'll find Special Education and Student Services resources, including Basic Needs and Mental Health Resources, Special Education Resources, and Self-Care Resources for Families.
