Are you working on a research project? The library can help you find information that is current and accurate, from authors who are experts in the subject (and not just a random person on the internet!). 

A database is a great place to find this trustworthy information. A database is resource that provides information on a variety of different topics. A database is written by experts and is updated continually. 

There are different kinds of databases. Some are focused on one topic, such as only biographies, and some have lots of different information, like about animals and countries. 

Because it takes a lot of work to maintain a database, you often have to pay a subscription fee to use them. Luckily, the Brookline Public Schools subscribe to many databases. We have databases that are just right for students of different ages, and about different topics.
