When I was young, my dad would bring this little digital camera with us whenever we traveled. He would bring it with him on all of our family vacations and take photos of me, my family and the cool locations we were going to. Now, years later I have taken up photography as something I am deeply passionate about. My dad and I found the camera again after years and years of the photos just sitting unseen on the memory card. I had such a good time strolling down memory lane with my dad, getting to see all the photos from when I was little. Some of my favorites were from our visit to a rainforest in Guatemala. There were photos of gorgeous birds, the majestic trees (which seemed so tall at that point), and my favorite, my siblings and I. I now compare these photos to ones I get to take, on my own, much bigger camera. There's the same fun of taking photos of my brother and sister, friends and family, but the nature I'm seeing is slowly fading right in my lens. The glaciers I've seen are getting smaller, the rainforests are shrinking and the cities are more and more polluted. I just hope that when I look back at my photos now, nature is still there then too.
