The Brookline Schools are part of the The Education Collaborative (TEC) Student Data Privacy Alliance. TEC has worked with the National Student Data Privacy Consortium to develop and support Data Privacy Agreements (DPAs) for Massachusetts. The DPA makes clear the duties and responsibilities of educational technology product vendors. The Data Privacy Agreements are legally binding contracts that ensure vendors safeguard student data in accordance with Federal laws.
