The Consumer Expectation Survey (CES) is a quarterly household-based survey on consumers’ assessment of their family income, financial situation, and the economic condition of the country.

The data items to be collected in the survey include the following:

• household demographic characteristics

• consumer sentiment on macroeconomic condition, family income, and family financial situation

• consumer outlook on expenditures

• buying conditions

• buying intentions

• savings outlook

• debt situation
