Chorus

We have a very strong choral tradition at 183. We have over 150 in who participate in chorus during the 3rd, 4th and 5th grades. In the third grade we concentrate on diction, breathing, learning the head voice, use of vowels and note reading. In the 4/5th grade chorus we do part singing and they always amaze me with their musical aptitude.

We have a large range of songs, to keep kids inspired and learning. This fall we are singing Ghost Ship, Viva la Vida, Forever Young, Shed a Little Light and some cool two part choral works.
