PS133BK Legacy Service Program started in June of 2021 when a former student reached out to his first grade teacher and asked if there were students who needed help with improving their reading and math skills. The former student became the first Legacy and was connected to a uprising 3rd grader and his family. An instant bond was formed and a path to academic and social-emotional growth was forged.
