Mathematicians really enjoy solving problems. I will provide extra problems for any of my mathematicians to try and solve. These will be challenging and thought provoking. When submitting these extra credit problems, please show all of your work and include an explanation of your thinking. I cant wait to see your amazing work!!

Who Owns the Zebra?
There are five houses, each with a different color and inhabited by men of different nationalities, with different pets, drinks, and automobiles. You need to figure out who drinks water and who owns the zebra.
The Englishman lives in the red house.
The Spaniard owns the dog.
Coffee is drunk in the green house.
The Ukrainian drinks tea.
The green house is immediately to the right (your right) of the ivory house.
The Ford driver owns snails.
A Toyota driver lives in the yellow house.
Milk is drunk in the middle house.
The Norwegian lives in the first house on the left.
The man who drives a Chevy lives in the house next to the man with the fox.
A Toyota is parked at the house next to the house where the horse is kept.
The Dodge owner drinks orange juice.
The Japanese man owns a Porsche.
The Norwegian lives next to the blue house.
A farmer has both pigs and chickens on his farm. There are 78 feet and 27 heads. How many pigs and how many chickens are there?
