Job Description
Position Title: Director of Federal Programs and Data Accountability
Department: Teaching and Learning
Reports To: Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction
FLSA Designation: Exempt

Essential Job Functions:
Assist Administration in planning, implementing, and evaluating all federal programs
Work with appropriate faculty to develop federal program budgets and regularly monitor throughout the year
Prepares and submits all federal and state reports related to each program
District testing coordinator for state assessments
Assist or write accountability reports
Disseminate new Oklahoma Report Card, analyze reports, and development plans of improvement with principals and site leaders
Coordinate the review, development, and revision of all procedures related to the administration of local and state assessments
Plans, improves, and oversees local and state assessments
Coordinate the ordering and use of all local and state assessment materials
Provide technical assistance to district and school administrators in the areas of federal and state accountability measures and assist in the interpretation and effective use of various data
Support counselors and Building Testing Coordinators in data driven decisions based on local and state assessments
Support the district and individual school efforts in the implementation of state and federal accountability requirements
Provide evaluative findings (including all data) for the review of curriculum and instruction program effectiveness
Assist in the preparation of budget and administration of the budget for supplies, equipment, and facilities in area of student assessment
Plan and provide staff development for teachers, administrators, and staff on requirements of the state assessment program and the state and federal accountability programs
Disseminate information regarding current requirements of the state and federal accountability programs
Assist in communicating information to parent and community members about local and state assessments and state and federal accountability.
Keep informed of and comply with federal, state, district and school regulations and policies.
Monitor all campuses during the administration of state assessments
Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Administration of local and state assessment programs and testing
Experience with data and working with teams to disaggregate data
Coordination of state and federal accountability programs
District testing Coordinator
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Valid Oklahoma Teaching Certificate
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to staff, students, and the school community.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform mathematical operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written and oral instructions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES: Ability to apply knowledge of current research and theory in specific field. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff and the community. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in oral and written form. Ability to perform duties with awareness of all District requirements and Board of Education policies.
