Experience in computer maintenance, and/or a recognized Computer Technician course, or equivalent.
Must be familiar with work capabilities and limitations of various computers.
Ability to demonstrate knowledge of contemporary technology.
Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Must have a valid Manitoba Class 5 Driver's License.
Assists with the installation and maintenance of all technical equipment.
Assist in the installing, trouble-shooting, and administering of computer workstations and peripheral equipment in all buildings throughout the Division.
Assist other members of the Technology staff in any capacity whenever the need arises.
Perform some initial troubleshooting and repairs for blended systems and other technologies.
Assist in the initial installation of networks hardware and software as per the Division Plan.
Assume responsibility for one’s own professional growth and attend training conferences and workshops related to areas of responsibility.
Assume other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the IT Director.
