GCX-P0 - Professional Data Collection, Research and Publishing
SECTION G: Personnel
The Board encourages its professional staff to avail itself of opportunities to collect meaningful data, conduct research and to publish findings either independently or as offered by various agencies to carry out professional data collection, research and publishing.
Whenever such data collection and/or research involving the Prairie Spirit School Division is of a major nature, the research must comply with the Tri-Council Statement on Ethical Conduct for Research and shall be authorized by the Board prior to its commencement. All data must be used solely for the purpose for which it was collected. Results of such research shall be made available to the Board.
In situations where the data collection and/or research involves the Division, the Board will discuss the data collection and/or research and may authorize assistance for the project.
