EOS-P0 - Student Extra-Curricular Transportation

Extra-curricular transportation requests

Extra-curricular transportation is requisitioned through the Principal and approved by the Transportation Supervisor.  (See EOS-E1) These requisitions become the records and reports for these trips.

The cost of such transportation will be charged against the school’s transportation budget.

Where a school or schools are representing the Division in finals at the provincial level, the Board may be approached to pay for reasonable transportation and accommodation costs from Division funds. 

High School Hockey

In the case of High School Hockey, a set amount, as determined by the Board, will annually be allocated to each of the Division teams.  A pro-rated portion of said amount will also be allocated to a team which may be operating with other school divisions.

Hosting Provincial Competitions/Tournaments

Where a school or schools in Prairie Spirit School Division is/are hosting a provincial competition, the Board will provide support of $250 per event or $500 per event where player of the game awards are provided.
