Part 1 (Learn about the hijacking that took place 4 months after the D.B. Cooper hijacking.)
In 1972 Richard Floyd McCoy Jr. hijacked a Boeing 727, the same type of plane Cooper hijacked in 1971. After receiving his ransom money, McCoy parachuted from the plane. Despite similarities between the hijacking in 1971 and this second hijacking, McCoy did not resemble the sketches made of D.B. Cooper. After escaping from prison in 1974, McCoy was killed in a shootout with police.
Part 2 (Watch to compare the 1972 hijacking to the D.B. Cooper hijacking.)
