Computer Science programming will be run through Hackerrank.  We are thankful to have Michael Shelton as the coordinator back with us.  He wrote the UIL Set B program for UIL this year. Please make sure that your students have devices to use that are compatible with using Hackerrank.

Computer Event Equipment - Please note that Prosper does NOT provide computer equipment for computer science.  That is the responsibility of each individual school.

Spelling & Vocabulary - We will use the state pronouncer recording.

Writing Events - Journalism and Ready Writing on March 28 will be in person ran by Mary Pulliam. We will provide computers and a network printer attached to those computers for all writing events.  Schools may choose to use the school provided devices, bring their own computer and printer (with power cords and extension cords), or hand write. While guest logins and facilities will be checked ahead of time with technology personnel on hand, the host school bears no responsibility in the case of issues arising from use of district technology during the contest.

Speech/Debate - Also please note that April 5th for Speech and Debate is at WGHS. We may need to go straight to Finals in Informative, Persuasive, Poetry, and Prose. I will let everyone know after the entry deadline.
