Perry Crafton

Perry Crafton is Dean of the Arts & Digital Media Division at Austin Community College. Prior to ACC, he was the Director of the Theatre Program at West Texas A&M University. His work as a director has been recognized on the state, region and national levels through his participation in the Kennedy Center/American College Theatre Festival while at WTAMU. His productions at ACC have been recognized with nominations from the B. Iden Payne Awards Committee. Perry is a recipient of the Texas Educational Theatre Association Founders' Award, and has previously served on the TxETA Board of Directors as President ('20-'22) and Chair of the Higher Education section ('14-'16). He is a Past-Chair of Texas Theatre Adjudicators and Officials for which he has been a member and a UIL One-Act Play Adjudicator since 1997 and has had the honor of judging the State One-Act Play Contest on ten occasions, most recently for conference AAAAA in 2024

Stephen Crandall

Stephen is currently a professor of theatre at West Texas A&M University where he has taught acting, voice, movement, and stage combat since 2010.. He participated in UIL OAP throughout high school and has adjudicated zone through region contests since 2011. Stephen is a Lessac Practitioner in bodyvoice training, a master teacher for The Expressive Actor/Lugering Technique, and a member of the National Alliance of Acting Teachers. He is also a proud member of two professional theatrical unions, the Stage Directors & Choreographers Society and Actors' Equity Association.

Allana Patterson

Allana Patterson began her love of theatre at Snyder High School under the direction of Mr. Jerry Worsham, where she experienced State meet three times, and won Best Actress/Samuel French in 1972. She holds a BFA in Theatre Design, and MA in Educational Theatre from The University of Texas at Austin. In 1995, she directed the 5A State Championship play for L. D. Bell High School; and in 2018, she had the pleasure of judging the 1A State Meet. Allana worked in professional/college theatre from 1977 until 1987 when she began teaching high school theatre at Richardson HS, L. D. Bell HS and Southlake: Carroll HS. In 2006, she was the recipient of the Texas Educational Theatre Association's Founders Award. Since earning an MS in Counseling and becoming a school counselor in 1998, Allana has performed in three community productions, worked over 26 workshops and festivals for one-act play, and judged more than 190 contests. She retired in 2016 from 28 years in public education. Her retirment time is spent mostly RV trailer-travelling with her husband and participating in the Airstream National Club events. In 2022, Allana was inducted into the Snyder High School Theatre Hall of Fame. Allana served on the TTAO S&P from 2017-2020, and hopes to continue her work for the organization. She has a strong belief in the positive effect of educational theatre as a life long learning experience.
