The Parent Page
The best way you can support your Trailblazer is to read with them, allow them time to read, and let them see you make time for reading, too!
Library Newsletter & Book Recommendations
Want to be a Parent Volunteer in the library?
Our first Book Fair is Nov. 13th-17th, we need 10+ parents to work 2-4 hour shifts between 7:45 and 2:45 Monday through Friday.
Email Ms. Mosby if you are interested, we will contact you in October to check your specific availability!
All volunteers, must have a Prosper ISD Background Check on file.
LOST OR DAMAGED BOOKS
If a library book is lost or damaged, it is Prosper ISD policy to request payment for the item.
To pay for the lost or damaged book, please go to our SUPPORT YOUR LIBRARY page.
Enter the dollar amount of the lost/damaged book. This can be requested from the librarian (ddmosby@prosper-isd.net).
Please send ddmosby@prosper-isd.net an email (with your child’s name) stating that you have paid for the replacement book.
Thank you for helping us to replace lost or damaged library books. We love to continue building our collection of amazing, high quality books for our readers!
Unfortunately, we will be unable to give refunds if the book is later found, so be sure to have completed a thorough search first!
Bryant Trailblazers have ample opportunity to use the library and its resources. Kindergarten through Second Grade classes have a scheduled time to visit weekly or bi-weekly. Third, Fourth, and Fifth Graders will come any day of the week with a pass when they are in need of a great book! All teachers will be working with Ms. Mosby, the Librarian, to collaborate on makerspace fun, curriculum-connected story times, digital citizenship lessons, and more!
