Looking for a fun, meaningful, and hands-on way to make a big difference at our school? Step into the heartbeat of our learning community—our school library!
♥️
We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us keep our library organized, beautiful, and ready for eager young readers. Shelving books might sound simple, but to our students, it’s magic: it means their favorite adventure, mystery, or science book is right where it needs to be when curiosity strikes.
No prior library experience needed—we’ll teach you everything you need to know! Whether you can pop in once a week or once a month, every book you put back opens a world of discovery for a student.
LIBRARY VOLUNTEER INTEREST FORM
**Weekly Shelvers will also be invited to attend a Training Session to learn the library systems.
Email Ms. Mosby if you have questions.
(Every volunteer must fill out a new Prosper ISD Background Check each year.
The Perks: A custom bookplate with your child’s name will be added inside the cover, and they'll be the very first student to check it out! Every student who purchases a Birthday Club book will get a shout out on the Bryant Morning Broadcast (morning announcements).
The Impact: Your child gets to share their love of reading, and the book remains in our library for classmates to enjoy for years to come.
NEW FOR 2025 CLUBS: In accordance with Texas Senate Bill 12 (SB12), parents/guardians must provide written permission before students may participate in any K–12 club. You can find our campus club permission form, along with club descriptions here: https://www.prosper-isd.net/o/bres/page/clubs-organizations
Students whose parents have not given permission will not be eligible to apply for club opportunties. Clubs the library hosts are Book Bunch, Bluebonnet Club, Broadcast Crew, Tinkercad Club, and Junior Librarian.
To pay for the lost or damaged book, please go to our SUPPORT YOUR LIBRARY page.
Enter the dollar amount of the lost/damaged book. This can be requested from the librarian (ddmosby@prosper-isd.net).
Please send ddmosby@prosper-isd.net an email (with your child’s name) stating that you have paid for the replacement book.
Thank you for helping us to replace lost or damaged library books. We love to continue building our collection of amazing, high quality books for our readers!
Unfortunately, we will be unable to give refunds if the book is later found, so be sure to have completed a thorough search first!
Bryant Trailblazers have many opportunities to use the library and its resources. All grades have a scheduled time to visit weekly or bi-weekly. Students can also come to the library independently every morning from 7:25 to 7:45 AM.
All teachers will be working with Ms. Mosby, the Librarian, to collaborate on makerspace fun, curriculum-connected story times, digital citizenship lessons, and more!
If you have any questions, feel free to email anytime!
