Updated Point System as of 2022

Active SHRM members must have at least 100 points every semester. 

A SHRM sash will be given to those who successfully accrue 300 points from the start of membership.

Revised Point System as of March 16, 2020

In light of the news of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the University of Guam has transitioned face-to-face classes to online learning via Zoom. Due to this new change, the SHRM Student Chapter Officers and Advisors understand the urgency to adapt to our new conditions. This new revised point system will be in place of original point system until further notice.

Active SHRM members must have at least 75 points. A SHRM sash will be given to those who successful attain 150 points. All points can be earned in more than one semester and will roll over to the following semester. The point system is broken down as follows (per hour): 

DESCRIPTION

SHRM General Meetings (via Zoom) and surveys 10 points

Picture wearing a SHRM polo or SHRM t-shirt 5 points

SHRM Professional Chapter Events 10 points

SHRM Events, Activities, or Volunteer work 5-35 points/hour (depending on event)

Article Reviews 20 points

Chairing Events 50 points

Donations $1 = 1 point
