Manufactured by: Wimits Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. Ind. Estate Lahore, Pakistan
Background: Provincial Drug Inspector collected the sample from Islamabad and sent it to the Punjab Drug Testing Laboratory (DTL) for testing and analysis.
Problem: Manufacturer has claimed Ivermectin 10mg/ml but DTL has determined Ivermectin 7.072mg/ml (70.72%) that does not comply the stated specifications. Therefore, Punjab Drug Testing Laboratory has declared it SUB-STANDARD.
Recommendation: This product does not meet appropriate quality standards and specifications. This product may fail to produce desired therapeutic effects. All concerned are intimated to keep avoid in procurement, dispensation, promotion and use of this batch of pharmaceutical product.
